Code of Conduct & Terms of Participation
At Safea, we take your child’s safety, well-being, and educational experience seriously. By joining our summer programs, students and parents agree to the following terms to ensure a smooth, respectful, and enriching journey for all.
1. Is smoking or vaping allowed during the program?
No. According to UK law, students are strictly prohibited from purchasing or carrying cigarettes, vapes, or any tobacco products. Smoking or vaping is not allowed in any part of the accommodation, campus, or during any activities.
2. What are the expectations regarding cleanliness and use of accommodation?
Students must maintain cleanliness in their assigned rooms and respect the property. Any damage due to misuse will be the financial responsibility of the student, as assessed by the housing provider.
3. Are there behavioral guidelines students must follow?
Yes. Students must avoid offensive language, bullying, political or sectarian discussions, and any behavior that disrupts unity or respect within the group. Any form of physical or verbal confrontation is not tolerated.
4. Can students use scooters or bikes on campus?
No. For safety reasons, students are not permitted to rent or use bicycles or scooters during the program. Violations will result in disciplinary action.
5. Are students allowed to skip program sessions or outings?
No. Attendance is mandatory for all educational sessions, excursions, and scheduled events. Students must follow all timings and instructions given by program supervisors.
6. Can students visit other students’ rooms or accommodations?
No. Entering another student’s room or opposite-gender housing is strictly prohibited, even among relatives. This is to protect privacy and avoid any unwanted incidents.
7. What happens if a student breaks the rules or causes a serious incident?
In case of misconduct or legal violations, Safea may send the student back to Saudi Arabia. The guardian will be responsible for covering all related expenses, including flight changes and escort costs.
8. Can parents interfere with the program directly?
While we value parental involvement, we ask that parents refrain from interfering with the program’s internal management or instruction process. Our aim is to ensure organized and smooth delivery of all activities.
9. Will students be photographed or filmed during the program?
Yes, Safea reserves the right to photograph or film students during the program for educational or promotional purposes. If you wish to opt out, please inform us officially before the program begins.
10. What is the cancellation policy?
If a student cancels after registration and payment, a non-refundable fee of 5,000 SAR will be deducted. The remaining balance will be refunded.
11. What if the student’s behavior disrupts the program?
If a student causes disruption that affects the program or other participants, and a decision is made to send them home, the parent/guardian must bear all associated costs. Safea is not responsible for the student after the decision is made and communicated.
